| New FIRST Coach Announcement |
| I am delighted to announce that Steven Tigg has accepted our post of Head Coach with effect from Monday 23rd February 2009. Steven is currently Performance Development Coach with South Ayrshire Swim Team. With Steve joining us, we can be confident that we will be able to build on the very good work and sound platform developed by Rob. We seek to expand and develop the clubs even further. Until Steve joins us, coaching will be led by Alan Reed with help from Alistair Calder, we are most grateful to both as we prepare for the Scottish Nationals. In the mean time roll on the Scottish Nationals in January where we are entering a squad of 20 swimmers under the FIRST squad Banner. A really great achievement by Rob and all the swimmers. If you see the programme the Squad of swimmers stand out more prominently as F.I.R.S.T. amongst the other swimmer's clubs. This is testament to the strength and commitment to the parent core clubs of Boness ASC and Falkirk Otter ASC. It really is a proud moment to see so many of our swimmers competing with the swimmers that were representing this country at the Olympics. Regards Garvie |
